Description:

The Graduate Institute of Foreign Literatures and Linguistics at National Chiao
Tung University invites applications for a full-time tenure-track position in
Linguistics at all possible levels, with a starting date of August 1st, 2005.

Applicants should have in hand a Ph. D degree before July 1st, 2005 and a strong
record of research in one or both of the following areas:
- interface studies in linguistics (including interface between syntax,
  semantics, phonology, prosody and pragmatics)
- psycholinguistics, computational linguistics, language acquisition, cognitive
  linguistics, neurolinguistics

Special consideration will be given to applicants whose research can be
integrated with the existing strengths of the Linguistics section of the Institute.

Regular duties include graduate and undergraduate teaching, research, graduate
student advising, as well as Institute, Departmental, and College service
assignments as required of University faculty members.

publications; 3) photocopy of diploma; 4) research summary and teaching
portfolio, 5) two letters of recommendation; 6) transcripts (5 & 6 are
