Description:

The University of Graz is offering a 3-year position (3/4-time) for a
Research Assistant (funded by the FWF - Fonds zur Förderung von
Wissenschaft und Forschung) from 01-Nov-05 (or at first convenience) -
31-Oct-08 for work on a research project on Reduplication (The 'Graz Database on
Reduplication' - Project (gdr)).

The main task of the project will be analyzing morphological data from
reference-grammars, editing the data for the database, evaluating
questionnaires and conducting own fieldwork.

Requirements:

M.A. in Linguistics; interest in typological research; some expertise in a
non-IE language desirable.

The Researcher is expected to participate in the Graz PhD program and to
finish her/his thesis within 3 years, on a topic related to the project.
