A recent posting (re: Linguist 16.1802) by the New York Times titled 'Devoid of
Content' reminds me to give publicity to the views expressed by Charles
Windsor (the Prince of Wales), reported in the British press on 8 June.  You'll
notice the link between good grammar and good manners ....
