Subject: The LINGUIST Limerick Contest!

Dear Subscribers,

It's time to get your creative juices flowing! LINGUIST is proud to announce the
start of the 2005 Linguistics Limerick Contest. The fabulous prize for this
year's contest has been generously donated by John Benjamins Publishing Company.
The author of the winning limerick (selected by our highly qualified panel of
linguists) will receive a one-year subscription to any one of the 33 linguistic
or linguistic-related journals that John Benjamins has to offer.

All entries to the contest will appear in a special Limerick section of our Fun
Ddrive page for the benefit of the entire linguistics community. To enter this
highly prestigious contest, please email your submissions to
