Meeting Description: 

The Università degli Studi di Milano-Bicocca and the Università degli Studi di
Milano are pleased to announce that they will host a conference on Sign language
linguistics and the application of information technology to sign languages. The
conference will take place in Milan from June 22nd to June 24th 2005.

The first part of the conference will be devoted to contributions to the study
of sign languages based on formal frameworks (or relevant to such frameworks).
The second part will be devoted to contributions illustrating current research
on applications of information technology to sign languages. This call for
papers concerns *only* the first part of the conference.

OFFICIAL LANGUAGES OF THE CONFERENCE
The participation to the conference is free. The official languages of the first
two days of the conference (June 22 and June 23) are English and International
Sign Language. Interpreting services will be provided for these two languages.
The official languages of the last day of the conference (June 24) are English,
International Sign Language and Italian Sign Language. Interpreting services
will be provided for these three languages.
