We'd like to remind readers that the responses to queries are usually
best posted to the individual asking the question. That individual is
then strongly encouraged to post a summary to the list. This policy was
instituted to help control the huge volume of mail on LINGUIST; so we
would appreciate your cooperating with it whenever it seems appropriate.

In addition to posting a summary, we'd like to remind people that it
is usually a good idea to personally thank those individuals who have
taken the trouble to respond to the query.

Subject: Processing Long Distance Binding in Prominency Hierarchy

I would like to know if there is any research done on the processing of long
distance binding in the relation of prominency hierarchy. So far RT processing
study has been used on the grammaticality of a target subject. Can RT processing
be used other types of research? For example, I' think about investigating the
relationship between reading time and the prominency hierarchy. could it be
okay. If you know any research relating to this, Please let me know.

Hi,

I would like to make a collection of myths surrounding the differentiation
of human languages (equivalents of the Babel myth). I would appreciate any
tips/references.

Thanks.
