Meeting Description: 

The conference will examine what can be learned about the features of human language, cognition and culture from empirical research on non-human primates, e.g. concerning the precursors to human language, the behavioural and cognitive characteristics shared by humans and non-human primates, and social learning in humans and non-human primates.
