Special Issue on Computational Semantics!!!

SOUTH ASIAN LANGUAGE REVIEW (SALR), a bi-annual journal published in India
by IILS (www.iils.org) beginning with January 1991 invites contributions on
the theme 'Computational Semantics', in areas which include, but are not
limited to the following topics:
Knowledge representation and reasoning;
Computational semantics for special applications   (such as Intelligent
Tutoring Systems, Language Modeling, Machine Learning, Machine Translation,
etc);
Building semantic interfaces in grammars;
Formalisms for computational semantics;
Computational lexical semantics;
Word Sense Disambiguation.


Submission Requirements: 

Authors are requested to submit an original paper in not more than 3000
words (15 pages) by January 30, 2006.
Format preferred:  MS Word (doc or rtf files) and if possible a pdf or ps
file too.
Style-sheet: Please refer to the style sheet of the journal "Language".
Email submissions: umarani at pitt.edu and onkoul at sify.com
Notification of acceptance will be sent by March 31, 2006.
Revised versions of the accepted papers should be submitted by May 31, 2006.
