PROPOR - is the main event in the area of Natural Language Processing that
is focused on Portuguese and the theoretical and technological issues
related to this specific language.

We cordially invite you to participate in the 7th PROPOR - Workshop on
Computational Processing of the Portuguese Language - Written and
Spoken, to be held in Itatiaia, Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, May 13-17, 2006,

Languages.

PROPOR 2006 is sponsored by the Brazilian Computing Society (SBC) and
the Association for Computational Linguistics (ACL).

SCOPE OF THE WORKSHOP

We invite the scientific community to submit original and unpublished
research on aspects of Computational Processing of Portuguese,
