Description:

The Department of Hispanic Studies at Texas A&M University announces a position
for an associate or assistant professor in Hispanic linguistics preferably with
research and teaching specialty in sociolinguistics and/or applied  
linguistics/pedagogy. Candidates must demonstrate a research agenda consistent
with an appointment in an interdisciplinary doctoral program, a strong
commitment to teaching at the graduate and undergraduate levels, and have a
native or near-native command of Spanish. The complete file will include a
letter of application, vita, three letters of recommendation and a

opportunities are available through the university's interdisciplinary Glasscock
Center for Humanities Research.
