The Hablamos Juntos National Program Office (HJ NPO) is accepting proposals
for translations of terms associated with referents in health care
environments and brief definitions for those referents.

In collaboration with a team of designers the HJ NPO has selected a set of
symbols to be used in signage for wayfinding in health care facilities that
will be released free to the general public. Our goal is to use signs that
can help patients across different languages and cultures to navigate
health facilities better. We are now in the process of releasing the
symbols to the public, and would like to provide the referents to the
symbols in the languages more commonly spoken in the US.

We are looking for linguists from the languages listed below to translate a
list of referents and/or to review and provide feedback and comments on
existing translations (quality review).

1. Spanish
2. Cantonese (Chinese)
3. Mandarin (Chinese)
4. French
5. German
6. Italian
7. Tagalog
8. Vietnamese
9. Korean
10. Hindi

Interested candidates should reply to Carlos Torres at the following e-mail
address: carlos at hablamosjuntos.org. Please include a description of your
qualifications as a linguist with your reply.
