Appointment may be made at Professor, Associate Professor, or Assistant
Professor level depending on experience.

Founded in 1953, Nagoya University of Commerce and Business is situated on
an exceptionally beautiful campus in the most economically productive
region of Japan.  It consistently receives a high academic ranking and is
strongly committed to global standards for excellence in scholarship and
research.  It is the only university in Japan on the fast track for
accreditation by the prestigious Association to Advance Collegiate Schools
of Business (AACSB) and is currently member of the European Foundation for 
Management Development (efmd).

The expanding Faculty of Foreign Languages and Asian Studies is one of four
faculties at NUCB and consists of the Department of English Communication
and the Department of Asian Studies and has a teaching staff that draws
from over 15 nationalities. It is currently looking for full-time lecturers
to strengthen its activities within the field of English Language teaching
as well as research.

The Faculty offers degrees (Bachelors) in its own right and acts as a
service organization providing language teaching in the university's other
faculties.

Requirements:
Applicants for the English teaching position are required to: 
- Hold or be in the latter stages of a Ph.D. in a language-related field
- Have experience in teaching at University level.
- Be published in the field.
- Have a keen and proven interest in research

The initial appointment will be for two years, thereafter renewable
annually. Salary is highly competitive including the opportunity to earn
bonuses.
