Description:

Tenure-track Assistant Professor, for Fall 2007: 
Specialization in historical linguistics, with particular background in
older Germanic dialects. Demonstrated research potential and teaching
ability in the theory of language change and/or language contact.
Germanic/non-Germanic contact and/or Indo-European also highly desirable.
Excellent research potential required. PhD or satisfactory progress toward
completion of requirement for a doctoral degree is required. 
Position funding is pending budgetary approval.
