Meeting Description: 

Konvens is a conference on natural language processing that is held every two years in either Germany or Austria.  The conference is supported by 6 organizations (DEGA, DGfS, GI, GLDV, ITG, OEGAI), each of which takes turns in organizing the conference. 

A first version of the Computational Linguistics conference Konvens 2006 program is now out.

The conference features a workshop on Didactic Methods in Computational Linguistics and an SDRT (Segmented Discourse Representation)-Based Workshop on the Lexicon-Discourse Interface.  Invited speakers are:  Nicholas Asher (Univ. of Texas, Austin), Jason Baldridge (Univ. of Texas, Austin), Eliza Kitis (Aristotle University), Laurence Danlos (Paris 7).
