Description:

The Linguistics Program invites applications for a 1-year,
non-tenure-track, lecturer position, with specialization open. Preference
will be given to candidates with teaching experience and with the PhD in
Linguistics. We seek to hire someone to teach 6 (3+3) undergraduate and
graduate courses in linguistics, including one topics course of his/her
choice (preliminary ideas about the topic should be mentioned in the letter).

experience, and letter of application, addressed to Richard Grusin, Chair,
Department of English, is due by March 15, 2007. Applicants should wait to
submit samples of work and letters of recommendation until requested to do so.
