Meeting Description: 

Diaspora Experiences: German-Speaking Immigrants and their Descendants
August 24-27, 2006 at the University of Waterloo, Ontario, Canada 

The conference will explore commonalities and differences experienced by German-speaking immigrants and their descendants when living in geographical and linguistic settings other than those of their own ethnic origin.
