Description:

Edukey Ltd. is a Hong Kong start-up dedicated to research and application
of early childhood development best practices, with focus in early
language, mathematics and logic development. Edukey works in partnership
with nurseries, pre-schools and parents to provide a fun and enriching

Edukey is looking to hire two early childhood professionals, with
language expertise in English or Chinese development, living or willing to
relocate to Hong Kong.

Key Roles

Participate in the continuous improvement and analysis of
Edukey's early childhood development curriculum for nurseries and
pre-schools. Includes leading the research related to area(s) of expertise
(English, Cantonese or Mandarin, and possibly other disciplines such as
mathematics, logic, arts, social skills). 

Assist in the continuous development and improvement of Edukey's workshops
for parents and children. Also participate as an active lecturer of the
workshops.

Oversee the progress of pre-school partners and actively
handle the training and coaching of their educators. 

Handle learning activities and aptitudes testing sessions with children in
partner pre-schools. 

Career path potential to grow into a more specific position if desired, in
the areas of management, research, lecturing/training or interacting with
children.

Qualifications 

5 years+ teaching work experience, including 2+ years at early childhood or
lower primary level 

BA in early childhood education, child psychology, curriculum development
or related discipline 

Masters degree preferred (in related discipline) 

Expertise in language development in English, Cantonese or Mandarin

Experience in bilingual learning, child language acquisition or TESOL

Willingness to move to Hong Kong by September 2006

Hong Kong work permit preferred, but will consider expatriate, sponsor work
visa and relocation.
