Description:

The University of Utah Department of Communication Sciences and Disorders
invites applicants for an assistant professor position in its
Speech-Language Pathology program. Teaching responsibilities include 2
undergraduate and 2 graduate courses in the area of developmental language
disorders. Clinical supervision of graduate students could be substituted
for one of the courses. Preference will be given to individuals with
expertise in one or more of the following areas: literacy, supervision,
autism, mental retardation, or AAC.  

Requirements: Doctorate in Communication Sciences and Disorders, Special
Education, or related discipline. University teaching experience is
desired, but not required. Salary based upon qualifications. Excellent
benefits package. 

The position is a full-time, 9-month, non-tenure track appointment
beginning August 16, 2007. Renewal is contingent upon funding.
