Workshop Presenters
The workshop will be lead by two Deaf presenters:
Lucyna Dlugolecka from Poland and Thierry Haesenne from French-Belgium.

Lucyna Dlugolecka
works as a multi-lingual translator, writing several articles in Polish about SignWriting, while working as an editor for the Swiat Ciszy Deaf Magazine in Warsaw (http://signwriting.org/poland/). At the University of Warsaw, Lucyna's dissertation is on linguistics, using SignWriting. Lucyna teaches hearing students Polish Sign Language and SignWriting at the University of Warsaw as well.

Thierry Haesenne
works with linguistics, Sign Language interpreting, Sign Language curriculum in Deaf schools, and in the past year has worked together with a team to establish SignWriting in schools for Deaf children throughout French-Belgium, as well as posting a new web site that records signs from several dialects of French-Belgian Sign Language in SignWriting (http://www.lsfb.be/signaire/ztous/).

Workshop Organizers
The workshop is being presented in partnership with the ESWO (European SignWriting Organisation, http://eswo.eu/) and CUN Praha (Czech Union of the Deaf - Prague, http://www.cun.cz/), where it is taking place. (Dlouha street no 37, Prague).
