Meeting Description: 

A workshop on possessives, in particular as they relate to terms such as 'affix' and 'clitic', organised as part of an AHRC-funded project on Germanic possessives. 

The workshop will take place 3-4 April 2009 at Chancellor's Conference Centre, The University of Manchester.

The invited speakers are:

* Liliane Haegeman (Angellier-Université Lille)
* Dick Hudson (UCL)
* Maria Koptjevskaja-Tamm (Stockholm)
* John Payne (Manchester)

* Arnold Zwicky (Stanford)

In addition to the invited speakers, there will be some talks based on submitted abstracts. A call for papers will go out in the spring of 2008.
