We'd like to remind readers that the responses to queries are usually
best posted to the individual asking the question. That individual is
then strongly encouraged to post a summary to the list. This policy was
instituted to help control the huge volume of mail on LINGUIST; so we
would appreciate your cooperating with it whenever it seems appropriate.

In addition to posting a summary, we'd like to remind people that it
is usually a good idea to personally thank those individuals who have
taken the trouble to respond to the query.

Dear all,

I am doing my research for PhD thesis. Qualitative and quantitative methods
will be included in my work. Some questions keep me thinking all the time
and still could not get the answer. Would you please do me a favor by the
following questions?

1. What is the minimum number of subjects for my pilot study and main study
respectively?

2. If I need English native speakers as one part of my subjects, where can
I find such corpus data based on tourism between guides and tourists?

I am very eager to wait for your advice. Thanks!!!

Best wishes,
May An
