The course Language & Ecology at the University of Gloucestershire has
become the first linguistics course to be nominated for a Green Gown award
in Education for Sustainability. Students were encouraged to take on the
identity of researchers and analyse the texts surrounding them,
contributing their results to the international research community. This
has resulted in a series of short and full articles written by students and
published on the Language & Ecology Research Forum. For more details about
the course and to view students' work please see www.ecoling.net/courses.html
