Description:
The Department of Linguistics at the University of Utah announces a one-year
replacement position for the 2007-08 academic year, pending budgetary approval.
Specific areas of teaching responsibility to be determined. Candidates are asked
to review our curricula online (www.linguistics.utah.edu) and to indicate
clearly their ability to teach specific courses. PhD in hand required by July 1,
2007. Review of applications will begin March 26, but the position will remain
open until
filled. The Department expects to initiate a search in Fall 2007 for one, and
possibly two, tenure-track appointments for the following academic year (2008-09).
