Description:

The German grammar group at the Department for German and Dutch Language of
the Free University Berlin offers several research positions (two
half-time, one full-time). The salary and social benefits are determined by
the German pay scale for state employees (Verg.-Gr. BAT IIA) and amounts to
approximately 3000 € per month for a full position, depending on age and
family status.

The ideal candidates works on the grammar of German or another Germanic
language with a specialization in formal approaches (for instance HPSG,
LFG). The positions involve 4 hours (or 2 hours for the half-time
positions) of teaching per week in the BA Deutsche Philologie.

The positions are temporary, with an initial contract over two, three, or
four years (depending on the position).
