Description:

The University of Nova Gorica invites applications for a full-time
teaching/research position in semantics or phonology at the rank of Assistant
Professor for the 2007-08 academic year with possibilities of extension. The
teaching load is approximately four hours of lectures per week over the two
semesters of the academic year and advising  students on their research.
Teaching will be at the Master's level (a PhD program is in preparation) and
will include a core course in semantics or phonology as well as a
selected-topics seminar. Classes are taught in English.

Applicants must hold a PhD by September 30, 2007.

Applications should include the candidate's CV, statements of teaching and
research interests, teaching evaluations (if available), up to three
representative samples of published or unpublished work, and the names and email
addresses of two or three referees. Applicants should also arrange for their
letters of reference to be sent directly to the address given.
