Meeting Description: 

Founded in 2000 in the UK, the International Summer School in Forensic
Linguistic Analysis addresses topics to do with the role, shape and evidential
value of language in legal and forensic settings. 

The Seventh International Summer School in Forensic Linguistic Analysis will take 
place at Aston University from 17th to 21st September 2007. This five-day 
event will address subjects within the broadly defined discipline of forensic 
linguistics, including the language of courtroom interaction, forensic authorship 
attribution, legal contexts for linguistic evidence, and forensic phonetics.
