The Fifth Old World Conference in Phonology will be held at the University of
Toulouse-Le Mirail, France, January, 23-26 2008. 
Pre-conference Workshop 'Corpora in phonological research': January, 23 2008.
Main Conference: January, 24-26 2008.

The Phonology group of the Equipe de Recherche en Syntaxe et Sémantique (CNRS
UMR5263) is delighted to announce the Fifth Old World Conference in Phonology
(OCP5).
The pre-conference workshop ''Corpora in Phonological Research'' (Jan. 23rd) and
the main conference (Jan. 24-26) will be held at the University of Toulouse
II-Le Mirail, France. 

Our guest speakers will be:

Nick Clements (CNRS/University of Paris III Sorbonne-Nouvelle)
Haruo Kubozono (University of Kobe)

For the main session, we welcome abstracts for 30-minute presentations plus 10
minutes for discussion, from any theoretical perspective, addressing any topic
in phonology.

Abstracts are welcome until September 1, 2007. 
Notification of acceptance: October 20, 2007.
Abstracts should be sent to ocp5 at univ-tlse2.fr 

Abstract requirements:

Format of abstracts: a text in PDF format no longer than one A4 page (a second
page may contain examples and references)
- 2,5 cm margins on top, bottom, left and right 
- font size 12 in Times New Roman
- single line spacing
- normal character spacing

The non-anonymous version of your abstract should start with: 
- the title of the abstract in boldface and centered
- the name(s) of the author(s) in italics and centered
- the affiliation(s) of the author(s) in italics and centered (leave one line
after the title and after the affiliation)
- the body of the abstract justified (left and right)

The anonymous version of your abstract should start with:
- the title of the abstract in boldface and centered
- the body of the abstract justified (left and right)

Please send your named version and your anonymous version as attached files. 
The files should be entitled:
- ocp5-named-lastname.pdf
- ocp5-anon-lastname.pdf

For instance, if the author's name is John Doe, he'll send two files called
ocp5-named-doe.pdf and ocp5-anon-doe.pdf
  
Abstract submission:
1. Create a new email message by creating a new message to ocp5 at univ-tlse2.fr 
with the text ''OCP5 Abstract Submission'' in the subject line.
2. Attach both the anonymous and named abstracts as PDF files to the new message.
3. The body for the message should include the following information:
- author(s)'s name and contact information
- affiliation
- title of the abstract
- postal address and email address 
4. Please let us know if your abstract should be considered for a talk or a
poster or both.
5. Let us know if you need any technical equipment. We will do our best to
provide you with it.
