The Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) is pleased to announce its
''Ergativity Research Seminar'' in fall 2007.  The seminar will focus on
issues such as typological correlations, connections between (ergative)
case and agreement, and links between tense/aspect/mood and ergativity.    

The seminar is open to all.  Information on the schedule and relevant
material from the seminar will be made available on a mailing list.  We
invite those who wish to attend, and those who are interested and do not
reside in the Massachusetts area, to subscribe by following the link below:
