Meeting Description: 

The 8th Annual Conference of Japan Association for Interpretation Studies (JAIS)
will be held for two days on September 22 and 23, 2007, at Nakanoshima Center of
Osaka University in Osaka, Japan. 

The main theme of the conference this year is Community Interpreting with a
particular focus on Legal Interpreting/Translation. Any other topics related to
interpreting and/or translation, however, will be presented at the conference,
subject to approval by the Selection Committee.
