ELSNET Summer School Belfast 2007

Hurry - just over a week to go to the registration deadline!

ELSNET is an EU-supported Network of Excellence that has sponsored an annual
Summer School in spoken language technologies for over a decade.

This year the Summer School is coming to Queen's University, Belfast, Northern
Ireland, with the theme of Advanced Dialogue Systems: Affectivity, Adaptability
and Multimodality. Classes will take place from 16th - 27th July 2007. The
School is being organised by Queen's University in collaboration with the
University of Ulster and is presented by an invited team of leading
international teachers and researchers. Comprising a wide-ranging programme of
lectures and hands-on practicals the Summer School not only explains how
dialogue systems are being used and how they are evolving, but it also provides
training in the use of the programming languages and technologies (including
VoiceXML and SSML) that make today's most advanced dialogue systems work.

Registration is open until 8th June 2007.

You'll find details of the school programme and a registration form at
