Meeting Description

Le colloque international Diachro-IV Le français en diachronie se tiendra du 22
au 24 octobre 2008 à la Faculté de Philologie de l'Université Complutense de
Madrid. 

Nouvelle date limite pour l'envoi des propositions de communication: le 26
novembre 2007.

A la suite de Diachro-I, Diachro-II et Diachro-III en 2002, 2004 et 2006, la
4ème édition du colloque Diachro aura lieu à la Faculté de Philologie de
l'Université Complutense de Madrid du 22 au 24 octobre 2008.

Pour cette nouvelle rencontre, nous souhaitons privilégier les communications
portant sur les trois thèmes suivants: 
- Le français préclassique et classique en diachronie.
- Enonciation et linguistique textuelle en diachronie.
- Les structures interrogatives.

Toute proposition concernant l'évolution du français sera cependant prise en
considération.
	
La langue du colloque sera préférentiellement le français.

Les propositions de communication (20 mn + 10 mn de discussion) devront nous
parvenir avant le 26 novembre 2007 par voie électronique sous la forme de deux
fichiers attachés comprenant: 
- un titre et un résumé anonyme d'une page, 
- le bulletin d'inscription ci-dessous précisant les coordonnées du ou des
auteur(s), ainsi que le titre de la communication.

La réponse aux propositions sera envoyée le 10 février 2008.

Diachro-IV est organisé par l'Université Complutense de Madrid, le LATTICE (CNRS

The Third Workshop on the Acquisition of Romance Languages (Romance Turn 3) will
take place at the University of Southampton (UK) from 18 to 20 September 2008.
The workshop intends to gather people working on the acquisition of Romance
languages from a generative perspective.

The Romance Turn 3 will take place at the University of Southampton (UK), 18-20
September 2008. Like previous editions of the workshop, (UNED Madrid 2004 and
Utrecht 2006), all topics on the area of acquisition of Romance languages from a
generative perspective will be considered, including first and second language
acquisition, first and second language attrition, bilingual acquisition, and
impaired language acquisition. 
 
Presentations, in English, will be 30-minutes long plus 15 minutes for
discussion. Authors are invited to send one copy of an abstract in English for
review. Abstracts may not exceed two pages of text with at least one-inch
margins (2.5cms) on all four sides (on A4 paper) in Times New Roman point 12. An
extra page for references may be included as well.
 
Abstracts should be submitted in PDF format via e-mail to rturn3 at soton.ac.uk as
an attachment. In the body of the e-mail message please include the title of the
presentation, name of authors, academic affiliation, current address, phone and
fax number, e-mail, and audiovisual requests. Authors may submit up to two
abstracts, one individual and one joint. Please also specify whether your
submission should be considered for oral presentation, poster or both.
