Description:

The University of Oslo seeks two post-doctoral fellows for 14 months. One
position is within psycholinguistics, the other position is within
neurolinguistics.

a)  The psycholinguist should have some experience in the experimental
studies of sentence processing and/or lexical access, preferably with eye
tracking and reaction time measurement. Position begins October 1st, 2007.

b)  The neurolinguist should have some experience in the experimental
studies of sentence processing and/or lexical access with EEG/ERP. Position
begins October 1st, 2007.

Both fellows are expected to have a good command of Norwegian or one of the
other Scandinavian languages, as well as of English.

These two fellowships are supported by grants from the EU-FP6-FET-Programme
to the EYE-to-IT-project, (see: http://cogs.nbu.bg/eye-to-it/) running
2006-2008, and matching funds from the Faculty of Arts, University of Oslo.

The successful applicants hold a PhD degree at the time of appointment, or
have submitted a doctoral thesis, demonstrating expertise in
neurolinguistics/psycholinguistics or related areas.

The salary for the positions follows the relevant Norwegian regulations for
public organizations.  Generally, a 2% contribution to the Norwegian
pension fund is obligatory.
