Description:

The Linguistics Department at Georgetown University invites applications
for a Visiting Assistant Professor in syntax. The position is for the
spring semester of 2008; there is a good chance it will be renewed for the
fall of 2008 and spring of 2009 as well. The candidate should be able to
teach undergraduate and beginning graduate courses in syntax and a graduate
seminar in syntax or the interface of syntax with another area, such as
morphology, semantics, or computational linguistics. An interest in Spanish
linguistics is a plus. PhD in hand by the time of employment is strongly
preferred.

consideration, materials should arrive by Oct 31, 2006.
