Description:

Applications are invited for a Lectureship in German Linguistics in the
School of
Languages, Linguistics and Cultures. The School is one of the largest and
most successful such groupings in the UK, enjoying outstanding RAE scores,
burgeoning external grant income and a strong record of postgraduate and
undergraduate recruitment. German Studies, which secured a 5* in RAE 2001,
has a significant role to play in the School's development. The post is an
outstanding opportunity for an ambitious scholar to develop their career in
an environment conducive to excellence in research and teaching. Candidates
with a research specialism in any area of German linguistics are invited to
apply.

Salary:  Grade 6  £30,012 - £32,796 - Grade 7 £33,779 - £41,545 per annum
