The International Journal of the Linguistic Association of the Southwest
(LASSO) is seeking manuscripts for 2008-2009 year issues.

Editorial Scope of the journal:

Each 250-page volume of the Southwest Journal of Linguistics (SWJL) is
published in two numbers, one in June and one in December. The journal
publishes papers across a broad range of topics in linguistics, though
research papers dealing with the languages of the southwestern United
States and northern Mexico are especially encouraged. The editors balance
the published works among theoretical linguistics and
applied/sociolinguistics as well as publish manuscripts in both English and
Spanish to reflect the interests of members of the Linguistic Association
of the Southwest.

The journal also publishes scholarly reviews of the literature, book
reviews, and occasional commentary on topics of concern to the journal's
readership.
