Description:

The University of Memphis invites applications for a postdoctoral research
position in the Department of Psychology.  A Ph.D. in cognitive psychology,
education, or a related field is required.  

The successful candidate should also have demonstrated interests and
experience in two or more of the following areas: intelligent tutoring
systems, serious games, comprehension, comprehension strategies, learning
from text, writing skill, writing strategies, individual difference
measures, verbal protocol analysis, computational linguistics, and
educational applications. The applicant should have experience conducting
empirical research including data management and advanced statistical
analyses.  

Application review will begin May 30, 2008 and will continue until the
position is filled.  Positions will begin in the summer or fall of 2008.
