Lecturer in Phonetics and Phonology (Ref: HUM/80424)

Salary: £30,912 - £42,791 per annum

Applications are invited for a Lectureship in Phonetics and Phonology in
the School of Languages, Linguistics and Cultures. Candidates with a
research specialism in any area of phonetics or phonology are encouraged to
apply. An ability to provide teaching at undergraduate and postgraduate
level in both phonetics and phonology will be essential.

The School contains one of the UK's largest concentrations of high-quality
research and teaching in languages and linguistics. Within it, the
discipline area of Linguistics & English Language has its place as a
leading international centre of excellence, and has been prominent in the
recent trebling of the School's annual turnover in research grants to £1.3
million.

The post is an outstanding opportunity for an ambitious scholar to develop
their career in an environment conducive to excellence in research and
teaching.
