Meeting Description:

The workshop will be organized by the Department of Modern Greek Studies of the
University of Amsterdam, in collaboration with the Meertens Instituut of the
Royal Netherlands Academy of Arts and Sciences. It will host two invited
speakers from Greece: Anthi Revithiadou (University of Rhodes) and Anna Roussou
(University of
Patras), and it will take place in the centre of Amsterdam. 

Call for Papers

Second Amsterdam Workshop on Greek Linguistics

For the second year in a row, a group of linguists in Amsterdam is organizing a
workshop on Modern Greek linguistics on March 16, 2009. All linguists working on
Greek are cordially invited to participate, and submit an abstract for a 20
minute talk on any aspect of Modern Greek linguistics that may be of interest.

One-page pdf formatted abstracts, including examples and references, should be
submitted before January 19, 2009 to Dr. Jeroen Vis at the University of
Amsterdam: J.Vis at uva.nl, to whom any further questions may also be addressed.
Notification of acceptance: January 29.
