We invite submissions on any aspect of Romance linguistics, especially those with a comparative approach. 

Call for Papers

We solicit abstracts on Romance linguistics in any subfield of linguistics (e.g., phonetics, phonology, morphology, syntax, semantics, sociolinguistics, anthropological linguistics, etc.), including philological studies. Abstracts with a comparative approach will be given special preference.

Presentations are 20 minutes.

Abstracts should be no more than one page (12 point font, 1-inch margins).

Deadline for receipt of abstracts: March 17, 2008.

Abstract submissions are currently being accepted for the 15th Annual South Dakota International Business Conference in scenic Rapid City, S.D.  Abstracts must be submitted before the deadline of June 30, 2008.

All accepted papers will be published in conference proceedings. Abstracts must have an international theme. Suggested topics include: Language Issues Related to Conduct of International Business, Accounting, Business Ethics, Entrepreneurship, Marketing, Not-for-profit, Finance, Teaching/Pedagogy/Administrative Issues, Economics, Management Systems, E-Commerce, Global/Small Business, Tourism, and Social Management Issues.  

Pre-registration prior to September 19, 2008, will save on conference registration fees. Early registration fee includes breakfast and lunch for the duration of the conference, the keynote dinner at Mt. Rushmore National Monument, and proceedings. We encourage authors to submit their abstracts via e-mail. The document should be in Microsoft Word if not included in the body of the e-mail. Please include a cover page with: Title, name, organization address, phone, e-mail address (for each author). Submit abstracts to: ceib at northern.edu
