Description:

City University of Hong Kong is one of eight higher education institutions

Associate Professor in the Department of English and Communication

Duties: 
Teach and carry out research in one or more of the following areas: 
Applied Linguistics, Discourse Analysis, Professional Communication and
English for Specific Purposes.

Requirements: 
A PhD in Applied Linguistics or relevant disciplines. Candidates should
demonstrate a strong record of research and publication. The ability to
work well with colleagues is essential. 

Salary and Conditions of Service:
Salary offered will be highly competitive and commensurate with
qualifications and experience. Appointment will be on a fixed-term
gratuity-bearing contract. Fringe benefits include annual leave, medical
and dental schemes, and housing benefits.
