Meeting Description: 

Sociolinguisticsfest is series of mini-lectures on language, gender, identity
and ideology. Lectures will be given Monday-Thursday (June 9-12) followed by a
one-day workshop, Friday, June 13. 

Scheduled lecturers include:

Mary Bucholtz (UC Santa Barbara)
Susan Herring (Indiana University)
Scott Kiesling (University of Pittsburgh)
John Paolillo (Indiana University)
Dennis Preston (Michigan State)
Sali Tagliamonte (University of Toronto)

Lectures will be given Monday-Thursday (June 9-12) followed by a one-day
workshop, Friday, June 13. The workshop is a venue for attendees of
Sociolinguistics Fest (and others) to present their work on topics of language,
gender, identity and ideology.

On-line pre-registration for the lecture series (June 8-12) is $50 for students
and $100 for non-students*.
On-line pre-registration for the one-day workshop (June 13) is $15 for students
and $25 for non-students*
