Description:

The Department of International Language Studies and Computational
Linguistics invites applications for a vacant PhD scholarship in modern
languages / linguistics. The position is available from 1 January 2009.

The scholarship will be awarded to a project which uses modern languages
and linguistics in a project which addresses research questions which
relate to the areas of research and modern languages which are being
pursued by the Department of International Language Studies and
Computational Linguistics. The relevant modern languages are English,
Spanish, German and French as well as contrastive and translational
projects involving Danish.

Other areas of research may also be interesting. The Department will,
however, give priority to applicants proposing empirical research based on
data from the use of modern business languages or language management in
connection with business language and language teaching.
