Postdoctoral fellowship in Applied Linguistics
Linguistics aspects of Teaching, Learning and Assessing in English Language
at University Level

In Sweden learning, teaching and assessment is increasingly conducted in
English by those who are non-native speakers of English. Depending upon the
background of the post-doctoral fellow, the project will either focus on
one of the following: A) defining the language issues that impact upon the
quality of the teaching, learning and assessment environment and its
validity, B) how the use of non-native English impacts upon the cognitive
processes of teaching,learning, text production, and assessment, C)
developing language support interventions, or a combination of A-C.

The applicant is supposed to hold a PhD or an EdD in Linguistics, Applied
Linguistics, Psycholinguistics, English Linguistics, Education, TESOL,
Cognitive Science or a cognate discipline. Applicants must have taken their
doctorate within the last three years and not have already held a
postdoctoral position.
