Utrecht University invites applications for:

10 Lecturers / Assistant Professors in European Languages, Linguistics and
Literary Studies (part-time or full-time)

Job Description:
As a result of excellent research assessments and growing student numbers,
the Department of Modern Languages is able to expand its faculty. It
therefore invites applications from highly qualified candidates for several
positions, both permanent and non-permanent, part and full time, within the
Department's broad range of expertise: Linguistics, Literary Studies,
European Languages: Celtic, English, German, French, Italian, Portuguese
and Spanish. Candidates should be able to teach at all levels (BA, MA,
Mphil, second language teaching) and within several programmes, as well as
participate in cross-disciplinary courses and course development. Areas of
specialization are open, but it is desirable that the applicant's research
profile matches the research agenda of the current programmes and will
strengthen their ambitions. Candidates will be evaluated on their record of
scholarship and teaching.
