Linguistics/ESL /Temporary Instructor, Full-time Spring 2009 semester

The English Department at Clarion University seeks to hire one full-time,
one semester replacement position in general linguistics for the spring
2009 semester. Teaching load is four courses. Applicants should demonstrate
qualification to teach courses in general linguistics, cultural
communication, sociolinguistics, grammar and usage, and/or ESL.

MA in Linguistics required: ABD or PhD in Linguistics preferred. Send
letter of application, vita, transcripts, and 3 current letters of

Evidence of teaching ability and completion of a successful interview are
required. Screening of applicants will begin June 1, 2008 and continue
