Third International Wireless Ready Symposium on Digital Technologies in Language
Education. 

Call for Papers


The call for papers for the Third International Wireless Ready Symposium in
Nagoya, Japan, is now open. Proposals are encouraged on any aspect of digital
technologies affecting language education, including for example, Web 2.0,
e-learning, Web-based learning, wireless learning environments, computer
assisted language learning, as well as virtual and personalized learning
environments. 

Proposals will be accepted in the following categories: papers (30 or 20
minutes); poster sessions; and show and tell (20 minutes). 

Abstracts of no more than 250 words should be sent by December 20th to the
conference organizer, Michael Thomas, at michael.thomas at nucba.ac.jp

Proposals should include a biographical statement of the author(s) (50 words),
stating affiliation and the category of proposal. Further information is

Abstract (for 20 minute talks +10) should not exceed 2 pages including
references and data and should be anonymous. Please send the abstract
in PDF to yuying.su at utoronto.ca before October 31, 2008. In the body
of e-mail, please include: your name, your affiliation, your title and your
primary contact e-mail. Notification of acceptance will be sent by November 15,
2008.
