The Specialized Master in Multilingual Text Analysis has been designed for
students who want to complement their interest in linguistics with
obtaining a qualification in language technology. It is also suitable for
students of Computational Linguistics who want to gain a multilingual
perspective. Languages of instruction are English, German and French.

Selected topics:
* Contrastive studies across languages and varieties
* Alignment and Annotation of parallel corpora
* Machine translation
* Cross-language information retrieval
* Language technology for translation science
* Multilingual databases
* Multilingual access to the media

The program will accommodate students with different backgrounds including
students with little computational or little linguistics background. The
multilinguality of Switzerland, the cosmopolitan flair of Zurich, plus
international study weeks with our partner universities abroad provide for
a unique academic experience.
