Meeting Description: 

The Eastern European Summer School in Generative Grammar (EGG) will take place in Poznan, Poland from July 27 to August 7, 2009. 

Registration is open between May 1 and May 15, 2009. 

The school is aimed at students and practitioners at all levels. 

Travel and accommodation grants are available for qualified applicants from Eastern European countries. 

This year the summer school will be co-organised with Uli Sauerland's COST project (http://www.zas.gwz-berlin.de/cost/), which focuses on semantic and pragmatic effects related to language acquisition and SLI. Therefore, this year's school will again be a thematic one, based on the search for external evidence for linguistic theories, with many classes on various cognitive aspects of language (language acquisition, SLI, psycholinguistics, neurolinguistics, language & music).
