The Linguistics Program at the University of Missouri will host the 2009 Mid America Linguistics Conference over the weekend of October 9-11, 2009 on the Columbia campus.

We invite abstracts for 20-minute talks in all areas of linguistics including (but not limited to) phonetics, phonology, morphology, syntax, sociolinguistics, semantics, language acquisition. Abstracts are also invited for a special session on Bantu linguistics. Submit as anonymous pdf or Word e-mail attachments to MALC at missouri.edu, with subject line ''phonology abstract'', ''syntax abstract'' etc. as appropriate to facilitate electronic handling.
