Monash University (Melbourne, Australia) and Jean Moulin University (Lyon,
France) offer a new double degree, which is the result of collaboration
between the Monash Translation Studies Program and the Jean Moulin Faculty
of Languages.

The objective of the new double master is the training of future
professional translators, working in both language directions,
English-into-French and French-into-English. Courses are taught
collaboratively by academics and by professional translators over 4
semesters, and are based both on theory and practice.

Students are totally immersed in two cultures as they spend a full year in
Australia and a full year in France. The training is tailored to the
requirements of this multi-faceted profession, at the crossroads between
numerous professional fields.
